  • Single Click "Live Check"
  • GPS mapping
  • Real-time access to hotlists
  • Uses a Talon ALPR engine with Neural Network Technology

ALPR is a proven mechanism that automatically reads license plate characters on stationary or moving vehicles. Using advanced camera, recognition, and database technology ALPR license plate recognition systems automatically capture images of vehicle license plates and instantly checks against a variety of vehicle “hotlists”. Alarms can be triggered when a “hit” (match) is detected on any given hotlist giving the ALPR operator the opportunity to take immediate action. "Live Checks" can be performed with the touch of a single button from the vehicle via secure wireless connections.

How does Veriplate ALPR work?

  1. Camera Captures Plate: High-powered cameras send a crisp image to the ALPR processor, which translates the image into text and checks against various hotlists.
  2. Plate is Compared to Hotlist Database: The ALPR processor stores local hotlists, updated throughout the day. VeriPlate ALPR compares the plate against these lists.
  3. Driver is Alerted of a Hotlist Match: When a match occurs, an audible alert sounds and a detailed alert appears on the laptop.

VeriPlate can be deployed in various configurations:

  1. VeriPlate In-Car: Permanently installed on a vehicle, this rugged configuration ensures fast operation and lasting performance.
  2. VeriPlate CheckPoint: Consists of a camera on a tripod and a laptop. Quickly set up a temporary station anywhere for quick ALPR operations.
  3. VeriPlate Static: Permanently installed at a static location such as a bridge, traffic pole or parking lot entry/exit, these can be an effective way to track visitors to an area along with times of entry and exit.
