Sarasota, Florida has immediate success

In just its first few days in action, the Sarasota Police Department's new VeriPlate system is producing immediate results. Officer John Lake says officers have written more than 20 tickets and seized several cars. Police ran "Live Check" on one tag and outstanding warrants came back on the driver. During that stop, cops made an arrest and also seized cocaine and nearly $1,000.
