Next Generation Mobile ANPR
- Wireless Synchronised Hotlist matching
- GPS mapping (MapMe / MapIt)
- CMIS - Common Misread Information System (Fuzzy matching)
- Uses the power of the TALON ANPR engine with Neural Network Technology
ANPR is a proven mechanism that reads number plate characters on stationary or moving vehicles. Using advanced camera, recognition, and database technology ANPR number plate reading systems automatically capture images of vehicle number plates and instantly check those numbers against a variety of vehicle “Hotlists” held in target vehicle databases or at central server locations. Alarms can be triggered when a “hit” (match) is detected on any given database giving the ANPR operator the opportunity to take immediate action. Live checks can be performed from the vehicle via secure “wireless” connections.

How does TALON Veriplate ANPR work?
- Field of View Camera Targets and Captures Plate. High-powered Plate Capture Cameras send a crisp image to the ANPR Processor, which translates the image into text and checks against various hotlists.
- Plate is Compared to Hotlist Database. The ANPR Processor stores local hotlists, updated eight times per day. VeriPlate ANPR compares the plate against these lists.
- Driver is Alerted of a Hotlist Match. When a match occurs, an audible alert sounds off and an alert box appears on the laptop showing details about the alert.

Veriplate can be deployed in these different configurations:
- VeriPlate In-Car: Permanently installed on a vehicle, this rugged configuration ensures fast operation and lasting performance.
- VeriPlate CheckPoint: Consists of a camera on a tripod and a laptop. Quickly set up a temporary station anywhere for quick ANPR operations.
- VeriPlate Static: Permanently installed at a static location such as a bridge, traffic pole or parking lot entry/exit, these can be an effective way to track visitors to an area along with times of entry and exit.
- VeriPlate CheckPoint: Consists of a camera on a tripod and a laptop. Quickly set up a temporary station anywhere for quick ANPR operations.
