Petrol Forecourt ANPR

Using the latest NDI-RS ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) technology a petrol forecourt ANPR system can read vehicle number plates that enter the forecourt anytime of the day or night in all weather conditions. Within seconds the vehicle registration plate will be checked against the NDI-RS National Petrol Forecourt Database of Offenders and an alert generated and sent to the cashier of the petrol forecourt immediately and before fuel is dispensed. The system pre-warns cashiers that a known vehicle has entered the forecourt and therefore allows the petrol station staff to limit or stop the likelyhood of fuel being stolen or prompt a payment from a previous no means to pay individual.

All NDI-RS Petrol Forecourt ANPR systems have the option to be connected to the NEW Multi Million Pound Data Warehouse Facility providing a complete  off-site 'managed' data storage facility and disaster recovery site. Utilising the NDI-RS VISCE back office system all data and images can be captured, stored, cross matched with hotlist databases and reports generated by the system administrator.

With the increasing fuel cost, drive-offs cost the petrol retail sector in excess of £12 million pounds a year. The NDI-RS Petrol Forecourt ANPR system is a cost effective technology to combat the crime 'on petrol forecourts' and to recover the loses by preventing drive offs and other 'no means to pay' instances.

The NDI-RS Petrol Forecourt ANPR system will combat:

  • Drive Offs
  • No Means to Pay
  • Violence
  • Vandalism
  • Shop Lifting

In addition to crime preventionl, the NDI-RS Petrol Forecourt ANPR system can provide statistical and analytical reports on numbers of site visitors, average length of stay, repeat customers as well as alerting staff on any ''white list'' vehicle registration number plates, e.g. disabled drivers where further assistance from the staff is necessary.
