NDI-RS the first ANPR supplier to receive full DSAS accreditation

NDI Recognition Systems Ltd (“NDI-RS”) is pleased to announce that it has been named as the first and currently the only Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) supplier to receive a full MOD DSAS (Defence Security and Assurance Services) accreditation. NDI –RS has been granted the DSAS accreditation for processing protectively marked data, up to and including restricted data in the Electronic Security Environment within the MOD.
Accreditation is defined in HMG Information Assurance Standard No 2 (IAS2) as "...an independent assessment that an information system meets its IA requirements and that the residual risks, in the context of the business requirement, are acceptable to the business".
