The fault could be fixed within 30 minutes of receiving a call on the NDI-RS Help Desk line.
VPN connectivity is providing an increased efficiency and reduced maintenance service lead time for many NDI-RS clients. Already in use globally the ANPR VPN service solution enables fast access to the client’s machine. A unique password is required to overcome the client’s firewall for the NDI-RS engineer to connect to the system. While located remotely the NDI-RS engineer is able to determine the ANPR software fault immediately and in most cases provide a fix. VPN provides an immediate solution for mission critical ANPR installations within the UK and Internationally. To ensure the security and integrity of all our customer base the NDI-RS engineers have a full security clearance prior to receiving access to the customer systems.
ANPR system set up
Using state-of-the-art Image copying software, NDI-RS engineers can clone systems at a customer location. Setting up and creating a cloned CD record can prove to be invaluable. If a PC running ANPR software crashes and all files are lost, the cloned CD record will be installed to have the previous set up restored quickly and efficiently. This process allows the customers’ ANPR system to be fully functional as soon as possible as well as keeping a record of all the set up within the system. This process is used for single site locations through to multiple fixed site installations.
