Using single Talon SpeedPlate and VeriPlate ANPR software, the mobile ANPR system is capable of simultaneously processing number plates from 4 ANPR cameras installed in-side or externally on the vehicle.
The Talon Mobile ANPR applications SpeedPlate and VeriPlate are designed for use in ‘on the move’ mobile police patrolling, giving commanders and users the flexibility and operational ‘reach’ to get into areas that are beyond the scope of fixed ANPR systems. In addition the system can be operated when the vehicle is stationary or parked by the highway, at roadblocks or checkpoints.
A typical mobile automatic number plate recognition system comprises of the core Talon recognition engine used for the plate recognition process. The user controls and operates the system using SpeedPlate or Veriplate ANPR application software, allowing local and national databases to be interrogated.
The mobile ANPR applications have been specifically designed with the user in mind.
