ConsoliData V2.9 - Coming Soon

Dec 9th, 2010

We’ve been busy over recent months working on the next version of ConsoliData – V2.9 and should have this FREE upgrade ready for you in early 2011. This release includes many great new features and we’ll let you know as soon as it’s ready.

What’s New in ConsoliData V2.9 Compared With V2.81?

General changes:

·         Bug fixes, security enhancements and minor improvements. See .txt files in the relevant folder following installation.

Additional PNC-specific Enhancements:

·         Auto-logon for applications has an alternative administration mode for SRG (not PNN2), which allows a single alias user identity to be used concurrently on any gateway, and any number of times for concurrent PNC access. The older auto-logon administration method for SRG is still available and supported.

·         Look@TE module released and local transaction logging revised to provide more details of PNC enquiries. Look@TE is not part of the standard software release. For more information on Look@TE click here.

·         The SRG gateway contains the functions of the separate service “DNSLookup”. Either configure SRG to use PNC DNS servers and remove the DNSLookup service, or leave things as they are.

·         SQL engine support is extended to include resilient free-standing SQL. Current support is either to a SQL cluster system, or to non-resilient SQL or SQLExpress, where the TrackControl service provides resiliency. The database can now be on resilient SQL servers, without the need for TrackControl.

·         Weeded SRG user details can be copied to other programs.
